Filmed "Ally" Teaser  -  January 25, 2009

I just finished filming the teaser for the upcoming feature film "Ally". As this is a teaser, I had only one scene to shoot, though it was nearly 5 pages long. But, Rachel and her crew got me in and out in no time. The shoot went smoothly, everyone was great, and I had a great time! Thank you, Rachel! I'm looking forward to shooting the feature, hopefully this summer!

Cast in "Ally" Teaser  -  January 12, 2009

I have been cast in "Ally" a teaser for an upcoming feature to be shot this summer, written and directed by Rachel Shepherd, MFA student at the University of Texas at Arlington and graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Ally, the consummate care-giver, is given the opportunity to escape the rut in which she lives her life by doing so, however, she just might have to turn her back on everything, and everyone, she's even known. I will be playing the role of Paul, a rich entrepreneur that offers Ally her escape.

Filmed "The Platinum Peacemaker"  -  November 24, 2008

Wow! What a great weekend! Sure, it was busy. Sure, we still have another day of pickups. Sure, I fell down the stairs in the hotel. But, this weekend was the most fun I have had on a shoot in a long time. Let's see... Where to begin? I spent the weekend in Nemo, TX, shooting at Doug Prine's old west town. I was covered in molasses, I beat up some cowboys, I shot a man or two, and I blew someone up with a stick of dynamite. Oh, yeah, and I got to see what it's like being a black man. He he. You'll just have to see the movie. -) The cast and crew were wonderful to work with, and I'm still amazed we got as much done as we were able, in such a short time. It's refreshing to work with people who take their jobs seriously. And, despite the issues that inevitably arise in this business, the planning and preparation was certainly evident. Thanks to everyone for doing what you do! And thank you, Clyde, for keeping our bellies full! You're the real deal! I want to also thank Doug and Toni Prine for allowing us to eat, sleep, and shoot on their property. The town looks great, you guys were awesome, and the hotel on set has the best (and only) room in town! And special thanks to Toni for helping keep my wardrobe in tip top shape. You are very much appreciated!

Filmed Music Video  -  October 29, 2008

We shot the music video for "The Bullfighter Returns" by Phil Pritchet and The Full Band last night, and the song is still stuck in my head. I had a lot of fun, hung out with a lot of really nice people, drank some good beer, and listened to some great music. It was almost like a Friday night out!
