Filmed "Frank's Last Shot"  -  August 2, 2006

We have completed filming the short film "Frank's Last Shot." This was a very fun and professionally-run shoot, and I was very impressed. Frank, an awkward and slouchy man, daydreams about football in a stall while his office is taken hostage. After a bullet whizzes through the wall, he leaves the bathroom and attempts to save everyone. A field goal Frank missed in high school haunts him, but a gun he finds on the floor fills him with confidence. He just doesn't know it's unloaded. I play one of a group of henchmen who disguise themselves as electricians and sneak into an FBI storage facility to retrieve some incriminating phone records. I got to scream and wave my gun at the hostages and, ultimately, after my collegues are picked off one by one, I too am shot dead by one of the FBI agents. Ouch!

Filmed "The Scorekeeper"  -  August 1, 2006

I have completed filming my scenes for the short film "The Scorekeeper" from Ontracc Productions. "The Scorekeeper" is a comic fantasy that rings just true enough to raise the hair on your neck the next time you find yourself stuck in a traffic jam for no apparent reason. Your life may seem like a random series of events, but it's not. Oh, sure, you have some input. But do you really think your keys just lose themselves? I play one of the officials at LifeCon, the organization in charge of administering every facet of life on Earth. He's a total jerk, so I had to dig really deep for this one! He he.

Cast in "The Cluttered Mind of Bob Walker"  -  July 28, 2006

I have been cast in the short film "The Cluttered Mind of Bob Walker" from The Movie Group. "The Cluttered Mind of Bob Walker" is an office comedy about a man overwhelmed with the pressures of his day. As he goes through his day, each of the people he interacts with continue to physically follow him around, representing all of things he has on his mind. I have a small part as a superhero following Bob's son toward the end of the film. I am told that I may get to wear tights and a cape! Hey, that reminds me of last weekend. Um... never mind.

New Headshots  -  July 10, 2006

I finally got around to having new headshots taken. I spent some time with John Wehlage of John Wehlage Photography on Thursday of last week, and I am very pleased with the results. It was a painfully easy shoot, laid back and fun, and I highly recommend John to anyone. Be sure to tell him that I sent you! Oh, yeah, and check out my new headshot on the downloads section or in the gallery.

View "Wealth Before Patriotism" Film Online  -  July 1, 2006

The entire film "Wealth Before Patriotism" is now available online, for your viewing pleasure at IFilm. Everyone dies! You can't do it on the online version, but my favorite thing to do on the DVD is pause and step through my beheading, frame by frame, to see the expression on my face. Sweet!
